We'll begin with explosive chaw. For some reason chaw in the 30's had many unusual properties one of which was the ability to explode on contact. One such case was documented in a Scrappy cartoon (some believe based on a real incident which killed 100 people in the late 20's) called 'The Puppet Murder Case'.
