Halloween: The Haunted House

Here's a fun tune ...

"The Haunted House" (1931, Ray Noble and the New Mayfair Orchestra)

"The Haunted House" (Disney,  1929)

"Midnight Frolics" (Charles Mintz/Ub Iwerks 1938)

"The Friendly Ghost" (Famous Studios, 1945)

Lonesome Ghosts (Disney, 1937)

"Krazy Spooks" (Charles Mintz, 1933)

"Spooks" (Ub Iwerks, 1932)

I have got to see Midnight Frolics & Krazy Spooks. Any idea if they are available somewheres?

Click on 'Cartoon Research Garage Sale' in my links. Jerry Beck offers DVD-R's of his extremely rare collection of 16mm films for sale. 'Krazy Spooks' is on 'Charles Mintz Vol.5' and 'Midnight Frolics' is on 'Charles Mintz Vol.13'. Be advised though that 'Krazy Spooks' is not complete - I don't believe a complete print survives of this film (at least with Columbia) although something may turn up in the future. 'Midnight Frolics' is a damaged print on Vol.13 (sound goes quiet and loud and picture flips from B&W to color). My copy is from a private collection which I hope to post in the future.
