Fink's

Is this a Fleischer thing? "Offices in New York and Miami" and all that. Although the "six-day bender" might be a dead giveaway.
The top image is from the 1933 Screen Song "The Peanut Vendor" while the bottom image image is from the 1940 Stone Age Cartoon "Pedagogical Institution". Everything else is total lies ... except maybe the bit about the bullet holes.
I thought you were making a statement re the well known story about Bowsky's "Wholy Trousers", and the incident which happened when he wore them on his long car trip from NY to Miami when Fleischer changed studio locations.
Love the changing colors on Scooterboy. The latest (red shoes, etc.) is my fave, so far.

I like all the Scooterboy renditions. It's just that those huge red patent-leather shoes are so nice and shiney.
Re the trousers: I know that Bowsky's great niece (I think) makes the rounds on the web. I wouldn't want her reading my lies. However, the story does start where all good Fleischer stories begin: with Willard and my dad hanging a stool at the bar in the Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel.
